Rahul questions PM's silence on PNB fraud in 'Mann ki Baat'

New Delhi, Feb 21 (IANS): Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday again attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his silence on the multi-crore Punjab National Bank (PNB) fraud and Rafale fighter jet deal, saying the country wants to hear about these issues in his 'Mann Ki Baat'.

"Modiji, last month you ignored my suggestions for your 'Mann Ki Baat' monologue. Why ask for ideas when in your heart you know every Indian wants to hear you speak about Nirav Modi's Rs 22,000 crore loot and scoot and the Rs 58,000 crore Rafale scam.

"I look forward to your sermon," Gandhi said in a tweet attaching a picture of Modi's tweet urging people to share ideas for his monthly radio programme 'Mann ki Baat'.

On Tuesday too, Gandhi had attacked the Prime Minister during his election rally in Meghalaya. "I would like to request this Modi (the Prime Minister), on behalf of all of us, to bring back the other (Nirav) Modi when he goes on another of his many foreign trips.

"We will all be very grateful as a nation to get our hard-earned money back," the Congress chief said.

Gandhi also drew a comparison between the Prime Minister and Nirav Modi.

"...Nirav Modi sold diamonds, which are the stuff he claims dreams are made of. In fact, one can say he sold dreams to many people, including the government which happily slept while (Nirav) Modi ran away with the public's hard-earned money.

"A few years ago, another (Prime Minister) Modi also sold dreams to the people of India. Dreams of 'achche din', Rs 15 lakh in everyone's bank account, two crore jobs, and so on," the Congress leader said.

Nirav Modi fled the country just before the scam -- in which he allegedly cheated the bank of over Rs 11,300 crore -- came to light. The ruling BJP and the Congress have been trading charges over who detected and acted against the fraud.

Why aren't Indian journalists reporting the fact that the current RBI governor, Urjit Patel used to work for Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries? Should Urjit Patel, who worked for Mukesh Ambani, whose companies owe billions of rupees to Indian banks, be appointed as the watchdog of Indian banks? The renowned lawyer of Supreme Court, Prashant Bhushan recently said that since Patel was the President of business development in Reliance Industries and has also worked with Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation Limited, he should not have been made the RBI Governor out of courtesy.

"Interesting that man who govt replaces Rajan as RBI Gov was President of Reliance Industries & Director of Guj State Pet Ltd, slammed by CAG," Bhushan had tweeted after Patel's appointment.

The Gujju mafia is bleeding India dry. Nirav Modi and PNB. Raffale deal and Ambhani. The only obstacle to the Gujju mafia looting India was Mr. Rajan .the former RBI governor. The BJP found a way around it by installing Gujju Urjit Patel as RBI governor.

From Nirav Modi to Vipul Ambani, India Inc’s recent scams turn In-Laws into outlaws. ‘Marriage arrangements help ensure that control over capital doesn’t go out of the community.’
Last week, news broke that Modi, his brother Neeshal and his uncle Mehul Choksi and a number of diamond import firms they are associated with allegedly orchestrated a massive Rs 11,000 crore financial fraud.
As it turns out, these companies have links through marriages to the Ambani and Adani families.
Sometimes, business interests coincidentally overlap – like when Videocon chief Venugopal Dhoot’s nephew (Saurabh) married Bhushan Power and Steel chairman Sanjay Singhal’s daughter (Radhika) in 2010 or when the sister of Reliance’s Mukesh Ambani (Dipti) married into the Salgaocar family of Goa in the 1980s.
Neeshal Modi, who has also been charged by the CBI in the case, is linked to the Ambanis through his marriage to Mukesh Ambani’s niece, Isheta Salgaocar. As pointed out above, Mukesh Ambani’s sister (now Dipti Salgaocar) married into the family that runs the V.M. Salgaocar mining conglomerate. Dipti’s daughter, Isheta. got engaged to Neeshal Modi in 2016.
What is lesser known is that Vikram Kothari’s daughter, Namrata, is married to Pranav Adani, a nephew of the industrialist Gautam Adani. Pranav joined the Adani empire after completing his business management degree from Boston University, going on to become the managing director of Adani Wilmer, the group’s agri-business arm. ‘Namrata Adani’ is named in Adani corporate documents and associated with Pranav Adani in a handful of media reports.
The Adani family, incidentally, is also related to the only other diamond merchant defaulter that is comparable to Nirav Modi – Jatin Mehta of Winsome Diamond fame.
Mehta is related by marriage to the Adani family. In 2012, Mehta’s son Suraj married Krupa, the daughter of Gautam Adani’s brother, Vinod Shantilal Adani.
When Adani & Ambani dynasty involved in scams, only 'Money ki Baat' rules.

    1. Jatin Mehta, chairman of Winsome Diamonds and Jewellery, a listed company, and group firm Forever, owes Rs 6,800 crore to 15 banks in India. He is now a citizen of Saint Kitts, an island country with whom India has no extradition treaty. Mehta is a close relative of industrialist Gautam Adani, considered close to PM Modi.
    2. Vijay Mallya diverted most of the Rs 9,000 crore he borrowed from a SBI-led consortium of lenders. Mallya, who has been based in the UK since March 2016.Shockingly, Mallya left India on a Jet Airways flight with nearly a dozen baggage items on March 2, which is also the day when the banks moved a special debt recovery court seeking an arrest warrant against him. The banks, suspecting Mallya may flee the country, asked for his passport to be seized. Is this a mere coincidence?
    3. Lalit Modi, former IPL commissioner, left India in 2010 following alleged financial irregularities in the Indian Premier League’s 2009 season. In June 2015, many media houses reported that foreign affairs minister Sushma Swaraj had helped procure Lalit’s travel papers after his passport was cancelled. According to reports, she said that she had helped him on “humanitarian grounds”.
    4. Sanjay Bhandari ran into trouble when several “classified” documents dealing with big-ticket defence procurements and plans were seized in an income tax raid on his premises in April 2016.CBI also got involved after it was alleged that his firm had received 7,50,000 Swiss Francs from the Swiss Pilatus company in 2010.
    5. Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi, who are the main accused in over Rs 11,000 crore PNB scam, have left the country and there is no official confirmation where they have gone. Other members of the Modi family too have gone missing.
    6. Vikram Kothari, the promoter of Rotomac Pen. Kothari was reportedly accorded the Best Exporter Award by the erstwhile PM Vajpayee, and was also placed on the board of Air India.

Why would PM Modi will speak in high profile India Inc scams?

58 k crores deal is small because there's lot of Jumla involved and the true beneficiary is best friend with zero experience in aircrafts. Government agencies taking required action? Well, they have strict instructions to turn a blind at fraudsters who wish to leave the country with the loot.

All scamsters are good speakers. If people vote for a person based ONLY on speaking/oratory skills then we end up with the kind of government we have at the centre today, full of fake empty promises, zero performance and economy in the doldrums. It is performance without cheating that matters. If a rejuventated Congress party can promise that and deliver in time to come then it really does not matter who is a good speaker or who is not.

PNB scam seeded under UPA rule, Deep rooted under UPA rule...., then who is Rahul to ask about it. Please mind yourself, at least NDA exposed it and trying nab the culprits.
Before PM Modi answers, Rahul must answer why PNB case closed during 2013 ( within 90 days after probe) . The whole nation know the fact that Dinesh Dubey who had opposed the move to grant additional loan to Nirav Modi was terminated by Finance Manager during UPA rule.
Rahul Gandhi has memory problem, he can't remember his past?????? Don't fool the people please .....

From 2014, BJP in power, and still accuses and blames Congress always....!!

Ain't BJP bored of accusing Congress ? Did the people of India voted BJP to accuse Congress for 5 years?
What is the achievement of BJP in last 4 years? Only accusing Congress, Chest thumping, Fake promises, Jumlebaazi and sending the fraudsters safely to foreign country ....!!

Where are 2 crore jobs/year for our youth?
Why has 'Make in India' not taken off?
    Why has 'Skill India' failed?
Why have Fuel and Food prices increased sharply?
Why are Farmers still struggling with debts and no support?
Why was an ill-planned GST implemented?
    Why did Demonetization fail?
Why has the Foreign Policy with China, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Pak failed?
Where are the Rs.15 lacs promised by you in 2014?
