M'luru: Sangeet Bharati Foundation to present music fest 'Sa-Maa-Ga-Ma' on Feb 24, 25

Mangaluru, Feb 20: Sangeet Bharati Foundation will present presenting a two day music festival Sa-Maa- Ga-Ma at Town Hall, here on February 24 and 25 at 6.00 pm.

On Saturday February 24 popular artistes Prasanna Korti Bengaluru, Basti Kavitha Shenoy, Mangaluru and Jayateerth Mevundi, Hubballi will perform under Indiresha Das.

Under the leadership of Jayateerth Mevundi, Sangeet Bharati Foundation will present Dasavani programmes by Indiresha Seva Trust.

The accompanists for this programme are Shankar Shenoy, Udupi on the tabla and Narendra L Nayak, Mangaluru on the harmonium. Pangala Dinesh Shenoy, Manipal and Rajesh Bhagwath, Mulki will accompany on the tabla.



On February 25 Abhishek Lahiri, Kolkata will play the sarod. He will be accompanied by Pandit Ravindra Yavagal, Bengaluru on the tabla.

On the same day, Mohammed Aman, Zee SaRe Ga Ma Pa 2012 finalist from Jaipur will play the vocals. He will be accompanied by Ustad Saleem Allahwala, Bhopal on the tabla and Narendra L Nayak, Mangaluru on the harmonium.

The main sponsors for this music festival are Karnataka Bank (R), Coporation Bank, Canara Bank, LIC, Sagar Reality Promotions, Axis Bank, School Book Company, Densure Clinic and Expert Group of Institutions are the co-sponsors.

The music programme is open to all and the vice president of Sangeetha Bharati Foundation Shri Narendra L Nayak has requested all music lovers to savour this programme to the utmost.
