Sunny Sunday morning in J&K


Srinagar, Feb 18 (IANS): It was a sunny Sunday morning in Jammu and Kashmir after four days of cloudy weather, the MET department said.

"Present weather conditions are likely to continue in the state for the next 48 hours," a department official said.

The minimum temperature in Srinagar was 1.2 degrees Celsius while in Pahalgam it was minus 7.3 degrees Celsius.

Leh was the coldest at minus 10.7 degrees Celsius while Kargil recorded minus 8.

Jammu city recorded 8.8, Katra 9.4, Batote 4.2, Bannihal 5.2, Bhaderwah 1.9 and Udhampur 6.1 degrees Celsius as the night's lowest temperatures.
