New Delhi, Feb 16 (PTI): Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Friday fired yet another salvo at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over tainted businessmen Nirav Modi fleeing the country.

Taking to Twitter, Rahul posted, "The scamster's escape formula: La(Mo) + Ni(Mo) ---(with) Na(Mo)---> Bha(Go)", while using the hashtag "#ModiRobsIndia".

The Congress chief had on Thursday alleged that the NDA government was looking the other way when billionaire jeweller Nirav Modi used his clout with the prime minister to slip out of the country and steal Rs 12,000 crore, drawing comparison with the case of liquor baron Vijay Mallya.

"Guide to looting India by Nirav Modi--1. Hug PM Modi 2. Be seen with him in DAVOS. Use that clout to: A. Steal 12,000 crore B. Slip out of the country like Mallya, while the government looks the other way," Rahul Gandhi tweeted on Thursday, using hashtag "#From1MODI2another".


The Congress had targeted the government over the Rs 11,400-crore PNB scam allegedly involving jewellery designer Nirav Modi and accused it of doing nothing to stop "independent India's biggest bank fraud" despite being informed of it in July 2016.

The Opposition party had also raised questions on whether Nirav Modi had been tipped off following which he left the country.

    I will give you small story..... there was a small family i.e. father, mother, son and daughter. Father was supporting the family and gave education and guided his family when he was alive. Father died in 2014 and daughter got matured and started enjoying with her friends because of lose control in the family i.e. without father. in 2018 feb the daughter got pregnant and if mother is blaming her husband telling that he is responsible for her birth and wrong doing...... How many people will accept it.
    Account is opened in 2011 and was regular or may be with some discrepancies but the person took 11500/- cores and ran away and the present government is blaming 2011 or we have to see when and why it happened??? Now instead of politics just try to do good i.e. give confidence to the account holders or use some political pressure to bring back the money. Our Indian government is interfering with the foreign government to get justice to Indians... Why can't they use same pressure on foreign government to send him back.....????

Written complaint was filed on 26th July, 2016 and acknowledged by PMO. But he got a mail from RoC that his case is closed ..!!!

    Most investors know Jatin Rajinikanth Mehta as a diamond trader, but very few knew that Mehta is a close relative of industrialist Gautam Adani, considered close to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

    Mehta’s son Suraj married Krupa, the daughter of Gautam Adani’s brother Vinod Shantilal Adani, in 2012.

    Winsome was incorporated in 1985 as Su-Raj Diamond India Limited, apparently named after Mehta’s son, who is now Vinod Adani’s son-in-law. Within months after the marriage, Mehta resigned from Winsome Diamonds.

    Indian media flashed the news that Mehta had given up his Indian citizenship on June 2, 2016. Just two days before that, however, on May 31, the Enforcement Directorate had issued orders for provisional attachment of immovable assets, plant and machinery worth Rs 171.97 crore belonging to Winsome Diamonds and Jewellery Limited, its promoter Mehta and other group companies.

    The outstanding loan of Winsome Diamonds group has already crossed nearly Rs 7,000 crore, according to sources within banking circles. With the CBI finally filing cases, it appears that the investigations has started to come to an end. But will the guilty be punished?
