Mangaluru: Two more arrested for harassing woman in car, robbing ATM card

Mangaluru, Feb 15: Relating to the incident in which a motor-bike borne gang had allegedly harassed a woman travelling in car with a male colleague at Adyapady here, Bajpe police have arrested two more persons. They were produced in the court on Wednesday February 14.

The arrested men have been identified as Abhijit (23) and Likhit (23), both from Adyapady. Two others, Shekhar Shetty and Rakshit, were arrested earlier relating to this case. The police said that the other member of the five-member gang is yet to be arrested.

The youngsters accused of harassment and robbery had filed counter complaint against the persons in the car, stating that a gang they had summoned to the spot had attacked them. However, no arrests have so far been made in connection with this complaint.

    This is utter failure of the law enforcers that they cannot rein in trouble makers. They have not been able to instill fear in them, on the contrary the common man is living in fear. The first time I remember instance of moral policing was by Rama Sene in the pub attack and the cops have been not able to do anything much since then.

    The movement by girl students started yesterday against moral policing, attacking the girls for love affairs in inter religion relationship yield some results. if such movement would have started in Mangalure few years back and attack in pub to girls, in malls and gardens would have stopped earlier.

    God is fixed certain time for all. For human beings it start from morning 4 to night 11.

    For birds and other tamed animals morning 4 to night 7.

    For wild animals night 7 to morning 4.

    For unknown things ( in between human beings to angels - not seen by naked eyes ) fixed time from night 12 to 4 ( before azaan ).

    What these office colleagues doing in midnight crossing limit..which meant for others..??

    Moral police are active to advise and to teach what is right..what is wrong even in wee hours..!! First follow rules by office goers.

    Cow matha fall undee second categort..morning 4 to evening 7.
    In earlier days people at morning take cattles for grazing at hill side and at evening all cattles return to respective shed without much problem.
    Now a days its become difficult to send cattles out..as more of butchers around.
    Gone are the days. They do not hesitate to enter maata where in cattles are more as seen in hiraidka recently.

    We do have same groups of morality near my home, reaching home far past midnight drunk(do I need to mention what they eat???)!
