Mumbai, Feb 13: The women's wing of Shani Mahatma Seva Samithi, Khar east recently held their annual Arasina Kumkuma programme.

Prajna Deepak Bhootkar, committee women's wing leaders Kesari B Ameen and Shobha Vasu Kotian lit the lamp and set the programme into motion. Sharada Sridhar Bangera, Leelavathi Yogesh Hejmadi, activists Pushpa Anchan, Saraswathi Ameen, Sulochana V Bangera, Saraswathi B Poojary, Revathi Shetty, Usha Jathan, Mohini Salian, Shobha Salian, Shobha Poojary, Vimala R Kotian, Surekha Kotian, Anusooya G Suvarna, Rekha S Poojary, Parvathi R Naik, Geetha Poojary, Kusuma Shetty and others conducted Arasina Kumkuma as per traditions. Priest Nagesh Suvarna performed the pujas.



Committee president Shanker K Suvarna, vice president Devendra V Bangera, vice president Jayaram Shetty, joint secretaries Ramesh N Poojary, joint treasurer Vinod Y, Hejmadi, members Janardhan Salian, Sachin Poojary, Nileshwara Naika, Bhoja Poojary, Tilak Shettigar, Prakash Shetty and Rajesh S Bangera were present. Honorary chief secretary Yogesh K Hejmady welcomed everyone, compered the programme and proposed the vote of thanks. Prasada was distributed to the devotees.
