Mangaluru: Srinivas Institute of Technology holds alumni meet

Mangaluru, Feb 12: Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, organised students alumni meet at Hotel Srinivas on February 10.

The function was presided by CA A Raghavendra Rao, president, A Shama Rao Foundation and chancellor of Srinivas University. Dr A Srinivas Rao, vice-president, A Shama Rao Foundation and pro-chancellor, Srinivas University was the guest of honour for the function.

CA A Raghavendra Rao in his presidential address mentioned about the importance of alumni meet which gets together all alumni of the college working in various engineering fields and places, also which is the platform to share their experiences.

Dr A Srinivas Rao in his address, briefed about the college, how it was established and also told that alumni meet will make the alumni to recollect moments of their student life.



Dr Shrinivasa Mayya D, principal of Srinivas Institute of Technology, briefed about the facilities provided to the students and the rank holders from the university.

The function was witnessed with Vijayalakshmi R Rao, director, Srinivas Group of College and Mitra S Rao, secretary, A Shama Rao Foundation and also Dr Ajay, public relation officer, Srinivas Group of Colleges.

The gathering was welcomed by faculty coordinator Dr Radhakrishna, professor, department of MBA and vote of thanks delivered by Sathyapraksh A, professor, department of Mechanical Engineering. Dr Ambika Mallya, professor, department of Humanity Science compered the programme.
