Mangaluru, Feb 3: Tulu blockbuster ‘Chaali Polilu’ has registered more than 10 lac views on video-sharing website Youtube.
The film’s digital rights were sold for a huge amount by the makers to a Kerala-based company. It took only a handful of days for the film to cross 10 lac views which is a new record for a Tulu film.
‘Chaali Polilu’ which released in 2014, ran for 511 days creating a new record in Coastalwood. It stars Devdas Kapikad, Naveen D Padil, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Aravind Bolar, Sundar Rai Mandara, Lakshman Kumar Mooluru, Chethan Rai, Arjun Kapikad and others.
The film is produced by Prakash Pandeshwar and directed by Veerendra Shetty Kavoor.
