Madikeri: Will call for bandh in districts that Rahul Gandhi visits - Yeddyurappa

Daijiworld Media Network – Madikeri (EP)

Madikeri, Jan 24: "The Congress state government has deliberately instigated the bandh over Mahadayi issue to interfere with BJP national president Amit Shah's visit to Mysuru the same day and Prime Minister Modi visit to Bengaluru on February 4," allegd BJP state president Yeddyurappa.

He warned that BJP will call for bandh in districts where Congress national president Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to visit.

Speaking after inaugurating BJP ‘Parivartana Yatra’ in Gandhi Maidan here on Wednesday January 24, he expressed his dissatisfaction saying that Congress has indirectly come forward to observe Karnataka bandh through various organizations on January 25 and February 4.

"Congress is conspiring to hold bandh when Prime Minister Modi visits Bengaluru on February 4 for the concluding leg of Parivartana Yatra. If this is the way Congress acted, BJP too will hold bandh and protests wherever AICC president Rahul Gandhi visits," he said.

"BJP national president Amit Shah is likely to visit Mysuru for Parivartana Yatra. The Congress government in order to create unnecessary hassles has called for bandh through other organizations. But the Parivartana Yatra will take place in the presence of lacs of activists," he asserted.

"Chief minister Siddaramaiah cannot present budget with Assembly elections approaching. The law does not allow it. The state government is hurriedly preparing to show new bills for old stones," he alleged.

Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to visit the state next month. During his visit, he is also expected to hold a road show from Mangaluru to Udupi and visit various temples including Sri Krishna Math.

This is what is your reason for your election? Good you published it. Now no one will ever remember you. When all these politicians learn meaning of standing for election. I don't think they have any good reason but only hatred. Mr. Yeddyurappa its time for you to retire. Let someone who wants to do good, do the best they can and people are the judges.

Yediyoorappa should take assistance from Nalin + Hegde to do band/strike and even burn the state. I am sure karnataka poeple will support yediyoorappa on his noble cause. Go ahead mr. yediyoorappa and dont make u turn for any reason. You are the real hero and next CM of karnataka and after than you will be our next PM.

Here, BJP'S Chief Ministerial candidate is regularly giving call to bund in every nook and corner, for silly reasons such as wherever other party leader is campaigning.
Yet some of his Bhakths calling him as great leader.
As long as we have such leaders, followers, and silent higher ups, we will have great future! They will turn everything upside down!

The dispute of river water between Karnataka and Goa is to be issue to tackled. In recent times Goa ministers insulted kannada people loudly in press and media. So the people of Karnataka has called bundh on 25th jan. If our ex CM is promising the people of state that he will approach his central leaders and solve the problem the matter ends there. Instead he is challenging the the state government and mixing with politics.

BJP can set a record in protesting...usually protests and all wont affect DK and udupi districts....you guys protest..scream at top of your voices..burn innocent peoples vehicles, shops and also attack ppl and then media will come ,take some good pictures and post it everywhere, and then finally India will be a laughing stock to the world. many Hindus are matured enough thankfully..only some idiots who like to disturb public peace every now and then trying hard to get down on streets will protest.. majority of mangloreans are living peacefully and in unity..all this wont affect them...
stop protesting everyday on nothing...start protesting against real threats like women assault, corruptions, attack on religions, religion being used as a tool for getting votes etc

    What stupidity is this.
Essentially you are encouraging people to not work and keep protesting by doing bandhs. What are you protesting against? Just responding to the useless Congress’s bandh? How is the bundh supposed to help economy and people? Is that what you expect other parties do when you get elected??
Please do value-based, issue-based politics and sell your growth ideas to the citizens. Stop barking whenever the other side barks. Stop equating yourself to the lowest political and societal denomination and for once stop lowering the whole political process.
