Mysuru: Vally Vagga's Kannada short story collection 'Hegalu Shilube' released

Mysuru, Jan 23: Renowned, senior littérateur of Kannada, Dr Na D'Souza released 'Hegalu Shilube', a compilation of Kannada stories by famous writer and poet Vally Vagga on Saturday January 20 at 'Konkan Bhavan' hall situated at Vijayanagar here.

This event, 'Konkani Sanskrit Sambram' was organized by Konkani Christian Association, Mysuru.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Na D'Souza, opined that "Konkani litterateur Vally Vagga has efficiently portrayed the traditions and beliefs of coastal Konkani Christian community through various stories."



Dr Na D'Souza was felicitated during the occasion by the Konkani Christian Association. Members of the association presented an attractive 'Sanskritika Sambram' programme under the leadership of George William.
