NC lawmaker demands end to harassment of militants' families

Jammu, Jan 22 (IANS): National Conference (NC) legislator Abdul Majid Larmi on Monday asked the Jammu and Kashmir government to end the "harassment" of families, relatives and neighbours of militants.

The legislator representing south Kashmir's Homeshalibugh constituency asked the Mehbooba Mufti government: "What is the crime of their families and why are their families and neighbours harassed?

"Security forces have damaged houses and vehicles. Why does it happen every day. If somebody is a militant, what is the crime of his family or relatives?".
