Chamarajanagar: Yeddyurappa challenges Siddu to fight from Chamundeshwari, CM ready

Daijiworld Media Network - Chamarajanagar (SP)

Chamarajanagar, Jan 22: Speaking after inaugurating Parivartana Yatra organized by the party in the city unit of BJP here on Sunday January 21, former state chief minister and state BJP president, B S Yeddyurappa, posed a challenge to Karnataka chief minister, Siddaramaiah, to enter the election fray from Chamundeshwari constituency, Mysuru, which he used to represent in the past till he tasted defeat. Addressing the CM, Yeddyurappa asked him to fight election from the above constituency if he has the guts and confidence that he has executed development works to the satisfaction of the people and that people would support him for that.

"Siddaramaiah is hunting for a constituency where he does not taste defeat. He should not run away from his original constituency. His real colour will be exposed if he fights from Chamundeshwari constituency," he commented.

He criticized the chief minister for raising the topic of the former having been jailed and now out on bail repeatedly at meetings. He wanted to know whether Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi are out on bail or not. He said he could not secure bail before imprisonment of 22 days as the judge was not available on that particular day, adding that the judge had later censured the concerned for the way the former was treated by the concerned.

At the same time, speaking at Bagepalli in Chikkaballapur district on Sunday, Siddaramaiah confirmed that he would be entering election fray from Chamundeshwari constituency this time, although last time he was elected from Varuna. Speaking to media persons, who sought confirmation from him about the rumour that he would be fighting from both Badami and Chamundewhari constituencies, Siddaramaiah dismissed these reports. He said he has never spoken of fighting from additional constituencies, and that his choice of constituency will remain Chamundeshwari.

A collosal sum of 300 crores was offered as bribe to a Judge for a favourable judgement. Just imagine the amount of money politicians amass and a ordinary citizen has to pay tax for a paltry income of over Rs. 2.50 lakhs per annum.

God knows what will be his fate.

Arrey BJP jo north main nahi sambhal payenge woh kya khaak sambhalenge.

BJP should have educated ministers like madhwaraj, sachin pilot,Sashi Tharoor to
win in south.Spewing venom on oppn works only in UP that too with the help of EVM ,coz its an illiterate state.

BJP has to reshuffle tainted ministers should be eliminated.

Ballari Reddys challenged Siddhramaiah in 2011 and see what happened thereafter. Not just they were sent behind bars, but their empire got demolished and BJP was reduced not even to Opposition party in Karnataka. Now Yeddy is challenging him again. Be sure, this will be Yeddy's last election. Siddhramaiah thrives on challenge and he has successfully overcome every challenge that was thrown at him.

So better Yeddy remains off Siddhu's radar so that he remins relevant in politics for couple of more years. If not, by May 2018, Yeddy may slip into political oblivion.

Without prejudice, Siddaramayya has proved to be a much better leader and Cheif minister than Yeddyurappa..
Yeddyurappa's success is entirely depended on Modi's popularity and central leadership.
whereas Siddu has his own autonomy and strategy, independent of central high command.
Siddu is the Boss of karnataka Congress.

Let Yeddy also contest from other constituency than Shikaripura. He will taste defeat even his home constituency. When he was CM he never visited Chamarajanagar for the fear of loosing his chair just because that was the notion earlier. Siddu changed that notion by visiting the district multiple times.Yeddy is too old to handle current affairs of state. Better for him is to retire from active politics and spend rest of his life meditating
