Key Indian equity indices open on flat note


Mumbai, Jan 19 (IANS): Key Indian equity indices opened on a flat note during the early morning trade session on Friday.

The wider Nifty50 of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) edged lower by 4.90 points or 0.05 per cent to trade at 10,812.10 points.

On the other hand, the benchmark 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) of the BSE, which opened at 35,339.11 points, was trading at 35,318.65 points at 9.25 a.m., up 58.36 points or 0.17 per cent from previous day's close.

The Sensex has so far touched a high of 35,390.87 points and a low of 35,281.91 points during the intra-day trade.
