Mangaluru: 'Hinduism's uniqueness lies in worshipping of divine energy' - minister Hegde

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Jan 19: "Worshipping of gods and goddesses depicting divine energy is the unique feature of Hinduism. Under current circumstances, our society appears to be in need of a strong moral footing and divine energy," observed union minister for skill development, Ananth Kumar Hegde.

Hegde was speaking at Vajradehi Math at Gurpur on Thursday, January 18.

"Hinduism believes in worshipping of divine energy. The gods we worship have weapons in their various hands. We too should develop the courage to stand firm in the face of challenges and energy to handle them," he stressed.

Sri Rajashekharananda Swamiji of Vajradehi Math, felt that the basic aim of one's life should be to discharge one's duty to the nation and extend protection to the society. He said that this will be possible when people move forward with the zeal of a soldier during the war, and at the same time, having sense of responsibility.

On this occasion, Anajth Kumar Hegde was felicitated by the Swamiji by presenting to him shawl, fruits, and flowers.

BJP backward morcha secretary, Satyajit Suratkal, BJP north zone president, Dr Y Bharat Shetty, and others were present.

If all Hindus believe what Anant Kumar Hegde says then everybody will go hunger. When he can't keep his tempers while attacking Doctors on duty what is the point of such 'divine' energy?

He is the wrong pick for Union Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship in the PM Modi's cabinet. By representing five time from his constituency and in his belief in divine worshiping it has remained one of the most backward places in Karnataka.

Most of time he has spent this 'divine energy' into communal hatred and has no regret for what he has saying.

If India continues to have such Union minister who raised from communal dispute like Hubli flag hoisting it will catastrophe in awainting.

This gentleman not even no were the word 'Hindu' has evolved which no where in the Hindu scriptures.

India need intelligent skillful minister not the one who believes in 'divine' energy.

So could anyone please enlighten me of that religion which does not worship divine energy? aren't the Trimoorthies, Jesus, Buddha or Allah all divine energies? then what is the uniqueness this ringleader is claiming about? Do we have a prize for guessing what did he intend by mentioning about the weapons in the hands of Gods?
I have always learnt the Sanathana Dharma or Hinduism is a divine way of life that follows ahimsa, patience, forbearance, self-restraint, and compassion, among others. But look what happens among today's followers. As told always, it isn't the Hegdes or Togadias or Owaisis to be blamed, it is us, who don't use our self consciousness to know what is right or wrong and fall prey to the words of such hate mongers!

The original Hinduism or sanathan Dharma did not preach worshiping of multple avatars of God and Goddesses. Idol worshiping in Hinduism started later on to suit the preists. Vedantic teachings procliamed existence of One Almighty God who is Omnipotent Absolute and Eternal without any image shape or form. He is called OM and 100 other names denoting His qualities. He is Nirakar Nirguna. All the scriptures brought the same message. Whether it is the Holy Vedas or Holy Bible or Holy Quran. Man has changed all the religions to suit their desires and worshiping the creations like Idols Humans and Graves. O mankind Study all the scriptures and know your Creator who is One Absolute Eternal Not Born Nor given Birth to anybody

Hindusism is a way of life. In south daivas are beleived and worshipped. There are spirit worshippers within the fold of Hinduism. Wether one beleived in 10 gods or one God, what difference does that make to God. Does that make him insecure? Can you pick some one or two Hindus around you who knows vedas. Most Hindus dont. If God as beleived by you wanted us to beleive in one God he could have done it. but he does not which means that how you worship does not matter to him at all.

All the time talking about weapons, challenges to the society and things like that. My friend, for a change, talk about peace, how to bring people together and help them forget their differences. This is what Hinduism is about. Hinduism is a great religion. It believes in living and letting others live. It teaches us sarve jana sukhino bhavanthu. This minister is giving a different colour to the contours of Hinduism. People have lived here in great harmony and peace for ages together. But that was when ministers like Hegde were not around.
