What is the motive behind the killing? Just elections?
So many arrested by police. But for the matter to go to logical conclusion they need to provide evidence in the court of law. Will they be able to do?

In some countries, where crime rate was climbing and Mafia dons were running the town; cops started to use a method of eliminating these monsters, without hvng the politicians know. The Singham style ' Extra-judicial'killing. That includes gang on gang murder, in addition the Don is captured and is told to be taken to prison. On the way, they ask him get down of the jeep for urination - and rest is for all to wonder! In many cases - this js deemed to against a civil society but but but - can work and has worked in many many counties, at the cost of bringing peace to the ordinary people in a society. As i said Singham style.
