Two friends who helped man 'forcibly convert' Kerala woman held

Kochi, Jan 11 (PTI): Two people have been arrested on charges of helping a Muslim man "forcibly" convert a Kerala woman and attempting to take her to Syria to be sold off to Islamic State terrorists.

Fayaz and Siyad, both natives of North Paravur near Kochi, were arrested on Wednesday following investigations based on a complaint by the 25-year-old woman, who was rescued from Saudi Arabia and brought home last year by her family.

The two are friends of Muhammad Riyaz from Thalassery in Kannur district, the prime accused in the case.

"They have been charged under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act," Ernakulam Rural SP A V George said, adding a hunt is on to arrest eight more accused, including Riyas, in the case.

He said the police have begun a probe into their alleged link with the Islamic State terrorists.

George said both Fayaz and Siyad were arrested based on the woman's complaint that she was allegedly tortured by them in a house in North Paravoor before Riyaz took her abroad.

The woman had alleged that Riyaz pretended to be in love with her when she was studying in Bengaluru in 2014 and forced her to convert to Islam and married her.

The woman from Pathanamthitta was brought up in Gujarat. She had moved the Kerala High Court last year seeking an NIA probe against Riyaz for attempting to take her to Syria from Saudi Arabia and sell her to the Islamic State terrorists as a sex slave.

She has also alleged that her marriage was registered using forged documents.

    fact check:
Quote- In 2017 "Attempting to take her to Syria from Saudi Arabia and sell her to the Islamic State terrorists as a sex slave? Do these terrorists really need to trap women from India just to make them sex slaves? I heard they do that with the woman from their captured places. they are terrorists anyway.
News in 2014 (TOI) Indian Nurses- Speaking at the airport, the nurses said they had been well treated by their as yet unidentified captors. "They were good people because they did not misbehave with us. They provided for food, accommodation and whatever we wanted they provided for," one nurse, who did not give her name, told a local television network. "They were saying you are Indian nurses and we are not targeting you people."
Now my dear Bhaktas, I just quoted two different news, I and all those nurses are not terrorist sympathisers at all..ha..ha...

Ha ha ha, so now you don't believe that woman itself, but whenever it is related to a accusation made against BJP, or right wing groups then you pass final judgement and don't say it's just accusation let's wait for the probe to be completed

All of them deserve severe punishment if they proved guilty. My point is that, from my expereince most of the allegations on such cases becomming void and accused are getting released. Moreover my coccern is that when hate mangers deliberately dragging religion into it to justify love jihad for each and every such incident which is never exist. Hidaya episode infront of us.

Proved? When such things never exists and a creation of Sanghi, then in what sense one can say it's proved.

The truth is, Sanghi badly wanted to prove that their creation looks the real to the world. Sanghi''s pitch into the battle indirectly when they find that the marriage is broken and now can make the lady and their family as their actors for their story creation of love jihad.

Here is the real story. It's simple in Islam if Nikah has to b solemnised both the husband and wife should be Muslims. If any one is not a Muslim then the Nikah won't be solemnised. Islam considers only Nikah as valid marriage between couples not in any other form and consider everything as haram, hence forth the guy requests the girl to embrace Islam and then get marry. The girl will accept it as she wants to get marry to whom she is in love. The same was practiced by Hindi movie actors Dharmendra and Hema Malini, they had to convert to.Islam to get into Nikah. It's a different story don't wanna get into detail.

Now the girls happily married and has no problem here either accepting Islam and getting married. Here he won't files any complaint of forcible conversion etc etc. Her dream is being fulfilled so why to complain???

The guy lives in Saudi Arabia as an employer to a company, he takes his wife back to Saudi where he is working on a spouse visa. As years pass there arise misunderstanding between them, such things are now common even in arrange marriages too. Not any is willing to compromise or have patience, even for minor things willing to get divorce. Well here the matter reached up to divorce. The girl returns back to India after a broken relationship and now enters Sanghi group who brain washes the girl and her family to lodge cases and act as per their script for their political mileage... So here is the true story and see how Sanghi''s back them to fight in Supreme Court. This is the fate of curent India ruling under malice regime.

You can be a good story teller or you can try Ur hand in
Bollywood.while commenting on Hema Malini' you say she too
converted into Islam if it is so you can check her nomination
filed for Mathura constituency .it is nothing such I that .
It seems you r witness for all the incidents as per your
explanation.now sickulars r saying girl is at fault and why not
boy give the details ?it is clear that he has no valid explanation.so it is clear case
of forcibly conversion.as Kerala us non BJPstse sickulars can't
    complain govt is harrassing

Deserve severe punishment if they found guilty. The arrest has been taken place now only after the complaint lodged by the women a year back. Looks like its a long legal procedure ahead to reach for the final judgement if the complaint lodged is a bogus.
