Canacona: Konkani Bhasha Mandal to hold Goa Yuva Mahotsav on Jan 20, 21

Canacona, Jan 11: Konkani Bhasha Mandal in association with Shri Nirakar Education Society, Mashem on January 20 and 21 will organise the 23rd Goa Yuva Mahotsav at in Mashem, Cancona.
 
Prashant Naik will be the chairman of the reception committee. Naik had played an important role in founding the concept of Goa Yuva Mahotsav 23 years back and continues to be its backbone till date. He is the chairman of Ravindra Bhavan, Margao as well as the chairman of Shri Nirakar Education Society. He was the former president of Konkani Bhasha Mandal. 
 
"The festival is being held in the silver jubilee year of the Shri Nirakar Education Society's S S Angle Higher Secondary School. I ensure wholehearted support for the festival and will strive to make it successful this yea,r" said Naik after his selection.
 
All the details and the brochure of the Mahotsav have been uploaded on the website www.konkanibhashamandal.com.
 
The participating groups and educational institutions must send in their entries on or before January 15 before midnight. Five points will be deducted if the competitors send in their entries on January 16 before midnight and 10 points will be deducted on entries reaching on January 17 before midnight.
