Puttur: Commerce fest ‘Ambiora 2K18’ organized at St Philomena College

Puttur, Jan 10: Department of Commerce, St Philomena College Puttur organized Mangalore University level intercollegiate Commerce Fest ‘Ambiora 2K18’ on January 9.

Managing director of Bestow Business Networks Pvt Ltd, Mangaluru Badsha Thodar participated as the chief guest. Campus director and chairman of PG Studies Fr Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro was the guest of honour. Principal Prof Leo Noronha expressed his best wishes. Correspondent Fr Alfred J Pinto inaugurated the fest and delivered the presidential address. The HOD of the department Prof Maxim Carl graced the occasion.

Sangeetha and team presented the prayer song. Convener Dr Herbert Nazareth welcomed the gathering. Student coordinator Mahammad Ashiq rendered the vote of thanks. Josvita Lorraine Lobo compered the programme.

‘Ambiora 2K18’ consisted of ‘Best Manager’, ‘Business Quiz’, ‘Finance’, ‘Marketing’ and ‘Photography’. Students from 12 colleges affiliated to Mangalore University participated in the events.

The valedictory function of the fest was held in the evening. Managing director of i-Tune Advertisers, Bengaluru, Lokesh Puttur participated as the chief guest. Principal Prof Leo Noronha delivered the presidential address and felicitated the prize winners. Convener Dr Herbert Nazareth and student coordinator Mahammad Ashiq were present on the occasion.

The overall championship trophy of the ‘Ambiora 2K18’ was bagged by SDM College of Business Management, Mangaluru. The runners-up trophy was secured by Padua College of Commerce and Management, Mangaluru.

Robin Mathew welcomed the gathering. The HOD of the department Prof Maxim Carl presented the details of the prize winners and rendered the vote of thanks. Manish Saldana compered the programme.
