Mangaluru: Deepak murder - BJP files Rs one crore defamation case against Kumaraswamy

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SB)

Mangaluru, Jan 9: BJP Suratkal block president Dr Y Bharat Shetty on Wednesday January 9 said that a defamation case of Rs one crore has been filed against JD(S) state president H D Kumaraswamy for alleging BJP's involvement in the Deepak murder case.

Addressing a press meet here, Dr Bharat Shetty said, "Without any political maturity and concern for society, the Congress and the JD(S) leaders are giving statements on Deepak murder.

"Immediately after Deepak's death, the local MLA gave a statement alleging the involvement of BJP. Being a responsible representative, how can he make such statements?" he questioned, in a veiled reference to Mangaluru North MLA Mohiuddin Bava.

"Yesterday while speaking to reporters in Mysuru former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy named a local BJP leader and alleged his direct involvement in the murder. It is a baseless allegation and we strongly condemn this. We already filed a Rs one-crore defamation case against Kumaraswamy regarding this. Such allegations are purely political motivated," he said.

"Kumaraswamy has intentionally given this statement to mislead the investigation. So police should bring him too in the frame of their investigation. He is trying to save some people who are actually involved in the case," he added.

Commenting on chief minister Siddaramaiah's visit to the residences of Deepak and Basheer, he said, "The CM's visit to Deepak's and Basheer's houses was also political motivated. At the time of Sharath Madivala's death the CM did not show any interest in visiting his family or paying homage to his mortal remains. The Congress leaders intentionally put pressure on the hospital and delayed the announcement of Sharath's death as the CM was visitng the city."

First of all Dr Bharath Shetty being in a Doctor profession should stay away from nonsense politics. And for the fact the same doctor was involved in a medical seats scam couple of years ago- which he got out with money and political influence. And the same person aka doctor is trying to make a few bucks by taking Kumaraswamy to task- you wish- and best of luck- Kumaraswamy has been in politics more than Shetty- he knows how to handle this . Keep waiting to get that Crores u are wishing for- probably in 2030 0o 2050. Jai Hind!

Dear Dr., you should maintain your dignity as a responsible person . You are holding a position of a principal at one of the college. You should not jump into the dirty politics. We thought you improved yourself after CBI raided your residence on DCI bribery case... You better stop supporting goons and jobless. Just lead a good respectable , well cultured life than running behind these jobless. I am just surprise what moral values you impart to the students when your mind itself is corrupted so badly... May god bless you!

This guy should first ask which party first started communal agenda to gain Hindu majority votes. Shoba, Nalin have been stirring up for well over a year and are are main culprits of this sad situation. If Kumarswamy has information, he should then pass it on to police. and finally if this President is a medical doctor he should remember his Hypocratic oath and get away from this dirty politics and politicians.

FIRST OF ALL POLITICIANS SHOULD HAVE SOME KNOWLEDGE THAT WHERE TO TALK AND WHERE NOT TO TALK SHOULD HAVE TO KNOW. PEOPLE SHOULD NOT ALLOW POLITICIANS BECAUSE THEY MAKE FALSE STATEMENT. AS PEOPLE OF MANGALOREANS ARE WELL EDUCATED AND HINDUS AND MUSLIMS ARE LIVING TOGETHER HAPPILY. THIS IS DOING BY SOME MISCREANTS TO GET BAD NAME WITHIN HINDUS AND MUSLIMS.

The people of Karnataka know fully well by now that as elections approach, Communal incidents regiister a sharp rise with only one aim to polarize our society and divide people who for centuries having been living amicably and in total harmony. showcasing the Govts achievements and highlighting the issues facing the common man are totally ignored. why are issues of Demonitisatio, GST and Gujarat Model of Development not being discussed now ?. Filing defammation case is a waste of time as people know how the judicial process moves in our country. The 100 crore defammation case filed by Amit Shahs son had two adjournments as nither Amit Shah nor his son turned up.

Amit Shah son also had filed a defamatation case against Wire for posting an article. Even a high court stay was obtained against the Wire. Finally the court overruled and truth prevailed. BJP members are good doing all these drama but it cannot be denied that communal polarization is the brainchild of the Chaddis.
