Udupi, Jan 3: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee, Udupi district minority department has appointed Gerald Newton Crasta, Kundapur as its vice president with immediate effect.

Ismail Athrady, Chairman of KPCC, Udupi minority department in a letter to Gerald Newton Crasta dated January 2, has stated that the appointment is made on recommendation from Byndoor MLA and Congress leader K Gopala Poojary.
