Mangaluru: MLA J R Lobo inaugurates Jeppinamogaru - Bajal road

Mangaluru, Jan 1: “The support of locals makes it is very easy for developmental works to be undertaken. Residents of Jeppinamogaru have proved this. With their support, the authorities have succeeded in carrying out the renewal roadwork in record time and the road is now open to the public," said Mangaluru South MLA J R Lobo.

He spoke after inaugurating programme the newly constructed road from Jeppinamogaru to Bajal.

“The state government is making a revolution in developmental works. Every section of society is benefiting from this government. This is not charity or service, but it is the government's commitment to society," he added.



Anil Shetty, working president of Karambhistan Temple inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. Naveen Chandra Rai, Keshava Angadimar, working president, Brahma Baidarkala Garodi, Dinesh Anchan, G Surendra, local corporator, Praveen Chandra Alva, corporator, Kankanady B ward were present.

At the beginning of the programme, the locals in procession welcomed the MLA with flower bouquets.

The MLA has also declared Rs 1.5 crore toward renovation of other roads in the Jeppinamogaru - Bajal region.
