Mangaluru: C R Asia organises cricket tourney at Urwa ground

Mangaluru, Jan 1: A cricket tournament for the employees of CR Asia, Mangalore Yard was held at UFCA ground, Urwa on December 30.

To grace this occasion, general manager of CR Asia India Gunavel had presided over the function and Jagajeevan, operations manager of CR Asia India was the chief guest, Jaydeep Shinde, HR manager of CR Asia India and Rajesh, yard manager of Mangaluru division were the guests of honor.

Senior employees were felicitated and William D Almeida and Bhavanishankar, retired employees were honored and wished well by the honorable guests.



The president of the function Gunavel appreciated the hard work of the employees of Mangalore Yard and wished them better future in the company. He also said that tournaments like these will lift their enthusiasm and it will help them to avail positive results in near future.

CR Thunder team emerged winner of CR Asia cricket tournament 2017 and CR Viper team was the runner-up. Sandesh Devadiga was adjudged the best batsman and Sachin Kotian as the best bowler of the tournament.

Kevin Vas, senior HR executive, Mangalore Yard welcomed the gathering and compered the programme.
