Mangaluru: Miscreants torch auto rickshaw parked near owner's home

Mangaluru, Dec 31: An auto rickshaw that had been parked near the home of its owner-cum-driver was torched on the night of Saturday December 30 by unknown miscreants.

The vehicle belongs to Stany Veigas from Kumpala.

The auto was set on fire late night on Saturday. A complaint about the same was filed in Ullal police station.

Assistant commissioner of police visited the spot along with other personnel and guided investigation.

    Whatever the reason.Mr Veigas 's community doesn't have violent groups..nor they believe in such kind of thing. Just imagine the situation had happened to Rajesh...even without invitation these groups would have protested as protectors...and would have threatened the administration with ultimatum...

    Rajesh Mulki,do you feel sorry or happy happened to other community?There are in every community some links .can also from some miscrants who play faulplay.quite possible some problems due to electriconic .should in first place investigate and later can say what was the problem.Sad but hope it will be solved.

    But where were these persons when cows were stolen ? Is it not stealing the livelihood of poor farmer/ dairy at that time many were supporting thieves and opposing moral policing why ?

    Torching autorikshaw taking away the livelihood of the rikshaw owner cun driver is really a stupid act. May be out of some vengeance somebody has done this. They will be punished by God in due course of time.
