Mangaluru, Dec 29: Karnataka state government has appointed Prashanth Janthana, Udupi, M Prasad Rao, Bellary, Y Anand Koppala, as the new members for the minority Hajj and Waqf development department.

The the minority Hajj and Waqf development department is under the Christian development sub committee.

These appointments were done under the recommendation of the Governor of Karnataka.

The new members will assume office immediately.
