Rejoice for the light has become flesh

    MY UNDERSTANDING OF LIGHT
Colossians 1:15 tells us that Jesus is the first born of all creations. Since “ LIGHT” is the first thing God created ,it stands to reason that that “LIGHT” is none other than Jesus Christ. This was confirmed by Jesus in Jn 8:12 when He said that He is the light of the world and also St JOHN THE BAPTIST referred to Jesus as the real light. (Jn 1:6,9)
John chapter 1 tells us that all things were created through Jesus Christ. Therefore it is clear that God created all things through “LIGHT” (Jesus Christ) from 2nd day on wards. This is further reinforced by
    Genesis 2:4.
    How was light created?
The “LIGHT” was created in such a way that He is one with God in Spirit ( Jn 10:30) and whatever God has ( power of God i.e. Holy Spirit) belongs to Him (Jn 16:15) and this is called
“Lord God” ie Lord one with God in Spirit and this the very foundation of Holy Trinity.

Genesis chapter 2:4 which says that “Lord God” created the universe . “ Lord God “ means Lord
One with God in spirit”( Jn 10:30).This means God created everything through Jesus (LIGHT).
Since all things were created through him, He is the giver of life.

The question is why is “Light” is called “day” and is the “day” mentioned in Gen 1:3 and Gen 1:14 are the same?
If we are to understand “day” as ‘ life ‘ then it would mean Light is the giver of life as there was no life
in the beginning when the world was engulfed in darkness . God set out to sustain life and vegetation etc by creating a solar system and gravitational forces to sustain life on the earth and “day and night” mentioned in Gen 1:14 is essential to sustain life.
    In Short this means
    1) The “day” mentioned in Genesis 1:3 refers to Jesus is the giver of “life”.
    2) The “day” mentioned in Genesis 1:14 refers to the solar system , gravitational forces etc.
    to sustain “ life”

Great idea, well displayed and well presented. Marvellous thought to make the community jubilant with the happiness of the season. We are all human beings, and particularly in India, we are "secular" human beings prevailing all over the country in hundreds of millions.

All gatherings with a display of rejoicing feeling brings added beauty to the festive season. It enables the public also to join in our happiness, and it creates a pleasant feeling in the minds and hearts of everyone.

Our individual faith has a great deal to contribute for the peace and harmony of all those that we surround with in our daily pursuit of life. When others from the street also join in our happiness then we are doing something right in making others be part of our happiness.
