Kasargod: Head-on collision between two-wheelers leaves one dead

Kasargod, Dec 21: One person was killed after a head-on collision between a motorcycle and a scooter opposite village office at Kadambar, late evening on Wednesday, December 20.

Gerald D’Souza (48), a resident of Vorkady is the deceased. He was riding the motorcycle.

A group of men playing cricket in the surrounding rushed an injured Gerald to the hospital. But he succumbed to his injuries before he could reach the hospital. He is survived by his parents, wife and three children.

Gerald was working in the Gulf and had returned to his hometown and was working here as a painter. He had finished his work in the evening and was on the way to Hosangady to purchase medicines for his father when the tragic incident took place.
