Mumbai: Mumbai Kannada Sangha holds charity lectures

Mumbai, Dec 18: Mumbai Kannada Sangha held their annual charity lectures at their office at Matunga east on Saturday evening December 16. Kannada Sangha Vashi president B H Katti who was present as chief guest set the annual charity lectures programme in motion.

Dr Sunitha M Shetty speaking about the lectures said that the salary paid to lecturers is too less and donated Rs 25,000 on behalf of old students for the purpose.

President of the Sangha Gururaj S Nayak welcomed everyone and delivered the keynote address. Vice president S K Bhavani was present. S K Padmanabha sang a prayer song.



Women's wing presdident Rajani V Pai introduced the guests. Joint secretary Somanath S Karkera compered the programme. Honorary treasurer Sudhaker C Poojary proposed the vote of thanks.
