Mangaluru: Milagres College hosts two-day fun-filled 'Avishkar' fest

Mangaluru, Dec 17: Rector of St Joseph seminary Fr Joseph Martis inaugurated ‘Avishkar-2017’ fun-filled annual day celebrations of Milagres Institution here at Milagres College ground on Saturday, December 16.

Addressing the gathering, Fr Joseph Martis said, “I can feel that ‘Avishkar – 2017’ is festive season with music and colour for the students. I appreciate Fr Valerian and Fr Michael who are responsible for this annual day celebrations. I congratulate all the people for putting up hard work together for this day. I also appreciate parents for their sacrifice in bringing up the children. All the parents are gathered here to witness the great event in this institution.”  

The fun-filled ‘Avishkar 2017’ hosted variety of entertainment and fun games like Wheel of fortune, card game, housie housie, Hooking the bottle, car race, treasure hunt, lighting games and American auction on day one. Nearly 23 stalls have been installed for the event including mouth watering food court with both veg and non veg cuisine.

Primary, High school and PU students performed dance during the event. There was also interclass event for degree students titled ‘Parampara’.  On December 17, there will be ‘Baby Show’ competition for children aged between 3-5 years and also Christmas star competition. 

Administrator Fr Michael Santhumayar welcomed the gathering and Alviera Lasrado proposed vote of thanks. 

Correspondent of Milagres institution Fr Valerian, vice principal of Milagres Fr Maxim, PTA president (Degree) Ronald and others were present.
