Warner Bros finds 'no evidence of wrongdoing' by Robert Knepper

Los Angeles, Dec 14 (IANS): Officials at entertainment company Warner Bros believe that "iZombie" star Robert Knepper is innocent in the case of sexual misconduct allegations against him.

Knepper, also known for his role in hit TV sitcom "Prison Break", was accused of sexual assault by a veteran costume designer Susan Bertram in a report last month.

The media company conducted an investigation and found no evidence of misdeeds on the set of the DC Comics-inspired drama, reports variety.com.

"We were deeply concerned about recent allegations regarding Robert Knepper. As a result, we conducted an internal inquiry with some of the cast and crew of 'iZombie'. We found no evidence of wrongdoing on the set of the show. We have taken and will continue to take appropriate measures to ensure the safety and well-being of all involved, which is our top priority," read a statement from the officials of Warner Bros.
