Udupi, Dec 13: The chairman of Muniyal Ayurveda Dr Vijaya Banu Shetty has written a book called ‘Dhammapada’. The book was translated to English by Dr Shraddha Shetty, director, Muniyal Ayurveda.
The book was released by GouthamPai, director of Manipal Group of Companies who has also appreciated the work.
“The only teaching which is universally accepted by the people of modern age having scientific temperament is undoubtedly ‘Dhamma’ explained by the Buddha.” These words of scientist Albert Einstein were remembered by Goutham Pai and he expressed that ‘Dhammapada’ is very relevant in today’s volatile environment since it conveys to people that ‘Dharma is not a religion, it is a law of nature’.
Dr Vijaya Banu Shetty has conveyed that books will be available at all Muniyal Ayurveda centers for free.
