Udupi: Accident takes away life of nurse at Pangala

Udupi, Dec 13: In an accident which happened late night on Tuesday December 12, a young lady lost her life after a car hit her near Pangala Kattikere on national highway 66.

The deceased was Supreetha Doli (24), daughter of Prakash Soans and Shyla couple, residents of Pangala. Her house is located by the side of the national highway. Her sister too works as a nurse. The family members are shocked at this sudden turn of unexpected events.

Supreetha was serving as staff nurse for a private hospital at Udupi. After duty hours, she had got down from a bus and was walking towards her house at Kattikere, when a car that was moving towards Mangaluru hit her.

The nurse, who was grievously injured, was taken by the car driver in the vehicle that hit her, with help from locals to a hospital in the town. But because of gravity of her injuries, the lady breathed her last on the way.
