Mangaluru, Dec 12: Showing a humanitarian gesture, the management and staff collected Rs 1.5 lac and handed over to Abhishek’s family who had died in Dubai in August earlier this year after suffering a heart attack.
The representative of the company where Abhishek used to work visited Abhishek's wife Kavyashree Shetty and handed over the amount.
Abhishek was basically a Christian known as Maxi Fernandes from Mulhithlu, who had converted to Hinduism. He had married Kavyashree Shetty, who is also working in Dubai, in 2013. The couple has a three-and-a-half-year-old daughter.
