Mangaluru: Rai’s ‘Walk for harmony’ is a flop show, says BJP

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (SB)

Mangaluru, Dec 12: BJP spokesman Jitendra Kottary and party member Harikrishna Bantwal held a press meet here on Tuesday, December 12 and termed the ongoing ‘Walk for harmony’ as flop show.

“As only 500 people were seen participating in the walk, it is completely a flop show,” Harikrishna said.

“Many Muslim outfits have stayed away from this walk,” he added.

“Before the walk, Rai begged with many organizations for support. Only left organizations supported him because they and Rai have same mentality,” he informed.

“This walk is totally politically motivated rally. Election is nearing. So Rai woke up with walk for harmony. Rai is the main reason for disturbances in communal harmony in the district,” he alleged.

“He is not commenting or taking any action regarding illegal cow transport and slaughtering. We are expecting few words about this in today's walk,” he said.

“Rai is the inspiration for all communal killings of district. There is no chance for communal harmony in the district during his term,” he added.

“Congress is ruling in the state, Rai is the in-charge of district. Then why he is walking with the slogan of harmony? Is he projecting that his government has failed to maintain peace and harmony?” he questioned.

Opposing for the sake of opposition. That goes to prove that the BJP does not want harmony in the Coastal District. It is a harmony walk to unite all people. The BJP should have welcomed it.

How the harmony march can create communal disturbances?? What logic?? Why do people think in other way, unless having bad intentions to create some if not happening?? All can join hands and walk for life.. Let us not dig the ground below our own feet....

News Channel would report, if the walk for harmony was a success or a flop show. It is comically hasty for a party to call for a press meeting and dub the event as a flop, even before it culminated just half way.

May be Hari Krishna did not get any subject to talk at press conference. Support someone who is working for betterment of society. Don't get the same subject about cows transporting or slaughtering which creates disturbances in society or enemity at our neighbourhood. India is a democratic country where everyone has a freedom to choose what is better and what is best for them.

My simple question ..what is your contribution Harikrishna Sir to bring peace and harmony between the communities?? If someone is taking initiative for a good cause we should support. If the walks stats from even 50 light minded people it is more than enough to bring the awareness. We should encourage and support such events rather than running to the press and expressing our frustration and negativity.
Lets grow up mentally and try to live in peace and harmony and create healthy atmosphere. Keep politics aside and let us start loving each other.

I think this Harikrishna Bantwal is a cry pot and opportunist and changing color and party! He may get votes on BJP hinduthwa agenda. He is no where near the ability and clean history like Rai! He is no match to Ramanath Rai.
