Kasargod: New office of Bela Cooperative Society inaugurated

Kasargod, Dec 12: The new office of Bela Public Welfare Cooperative Society at Kumble was inaugurated by founder director of the society, Fr Vincent D'Souza, on December 7.

Fr Vincent D'Souza, speaking on the occasion, wished that the society will achieve betterment of people, make them financially stable, besides supporting the progress of youngsters and the children. He hoped that branches of the society will also start functioning in places like Kasargod, Manjeshwar, Neerchal etc. "In general, it should aim at the welfare of the general public," he added.



Advocate, MS Thomas D'Souza, presided, Vicar var of the zone, Fr Valerian Frank, blessed the new office.

Mangalore CODP director,Fr Oswald Monteiro, founder director, Fr Vincent D'Souza, 'Senahalaya' managing trustee, Joseph Crasta, Campco director, Sathishchandra Bhandary, Kumble gram panchayat president, Pundareekaksha, Bela Public Welfare Cooperative Society secretary, Alphonse Alfred D'Souza, Merchants Welfare Cooperative society president, M Abbas etc participated as guests.

Directors, Raju John D'Souza, Richard Crasta, Amit Arun D'Souza, Maria Kenneth D'Souza, Piad Crasta, Maria Saini D'Soza, Jane Laveena Monteiro, Saumya Alvares and others were present.

M S Thomas D'Souza wecomed. Raju Stephen D'Souza proposed vote of thanks. Stany Lobo Kollangana presented the programme.
