Mangaluru: Workshop on street play conducted at St Agnes College

Mangaluru, Dec 9: The NSS unit of St Agnes College (Autonomous) organised a 2-day university level workshop on ‘Street Play’ on December 7.

Prof Vineetha Rai, NSS co-ordinator, Mangalore University inaugurated the workshop. Sr Dr M. Jeswina, principal presided over the programme. Jana Pawar, renowned stage artiste and president, Sanketh Trust, Mangaluru was the resource person.

Around 50 students of 10 colleges participated in the programme. They performed street plays at the college open ground on the 2 different themes, ‘Women Empowerment’ and ‘Corruption’.



At the valedictory of the programme Prof Jayantha H, retired, HOD of Chemistry, St Agnes College, Mangaluru, was the chief guest. NSS coordinator, Dr Udayakumar B welcomed the gathering. NSS volunteer Nischitha, I BCom delivered the vote of thanks.
