PM Modi lands in trouble for first-phase campaigning after deadline is over

New Delhi, Dec 8 (India Today): Prime Minister Narendra Modi today violated the model code of conduct while campaigning in Gujarat for the upcoming elections.

PM Modi, in one of his rallies in Ahmedabad, asked the people to vote for BJP after the campaign deadline for first the phase was over.

The model code of conduct prohibits call for votes after a campaigning phase ends.

Gujarat will vote tomorrow in the first phase of its two-phase election.

Voting in the second phase will be held on December 14 while results for this high-stakes election will be announced on December 18.

Meanwhile, the war of words between the BJP and the Congress seems to be unending.

The exchange of slurs reached a hilt after Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the 'neech' word was not only used by Mani Shankar Aiyar, but Sonia Gandhi and other Congress leaders too.

PM Modi in a sharp rebuttal listed out the names used by Congress leaders to defame him.

"One more Congress leader called me a monkey. Jairam Ramesh compared me to Bhasmasur. Beni Prasad Verma called me a mad dog. He also said we won't let this mad dog win. Ghulam Nabi Azad said I am Gangu Teli. Are these the kind of things we should say in public life?," asked PM Modi

How many opponents against whom Modi and his BJP party members have used abusive and filthy language ? How many BJP members have apologized ? How many of them have PM Modi or the senior BJP leadership rebuked ? How many BJP friendly TV channels bother to play and replay this on prime time ? BJP and their leaders indulging in classical hypocrisy. At election time PM Modi takes up only emotive issues dipped in the syrup of religion to fool our so called 'intelligent' voters to cover for his government's disastrous performances and string of failures. Selling Hindu religious sentiments to get majority community votes to fulfill political lust is the name of the game.

Modi wants only power nothing else. He is present Ravana of India who decided to build new India by Kidnaping "Ram Mandir & Hindutva Agenda". Dear Brothers and Sisters, elders & youngers, Rich & Poor, Labourers & Students, and all my fellow Indians be careful about Modi and His Gang.

In Football or Cricket if there is violation the player is suspended for couple of matches.
But only in Modi's India thanks to toothless autonomous ECI, even Prime Minister can violate model code of conduct and continue in office without any prosecution.
Forget about the campaign violation, even fake degree in affidavit is not even investigated.
Section 191 of Indian Penal Code provides "Whoever being legally bound by an oath or by an express provision of law to state the truth, or being bound by law to make a declaration upon any subject, makes any statement which is false, and which he either knows or believes to be false or does not believe to be true, is said to give false evidence".
The offence is a bailable offence and is triable by a Magistrate of First Class.
    Punishment: section 193 IPC
Imprisonment for 7 years and fine.
But in India elected members can still become Prime Minister and Union minister and occupy the government position filing false affidavit.
The EC had in response to an RTI query stated on May 29 that 10,05,662 ballot units (BU) and 9,28,049 control units (CU) were manufactured by BEL under Ministry of Defence and 10,14,644 BUs and 9,34,031 CUs were manufactured by ECIL under the Department of Atomic Energy, the petitioner has stated that this figure does not tally with the information provided by ECIL.
The ECIL has responded saying that it had manufactured 13,70,391 BUs and 11,31,399 CUs. So, in fact, it had manufactured 1,97,368 more units of CUs and 3,55,747 more units of BUs than those disclosed by the EC.
The RTI response from the EC has also established that in the past few years, about 70 EVMs have been stolen or robbed only in the states that are under BJP rule now namely Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Assam.
Election Commission’s Reputation Is at Stake.

He breaks election code of conduct being a Prime Minister of the country. He broke protocol while being in a foreign country, when he walked past the national anthem playing guard of honor. Well, it was not the foreign country national anthem - it was INDIAN National Anthem.

He has too much of remorse in his mind. He thinks he is representative of BJP, not of India. That's why he praised himself (or his government) in foreign countries, boasting how much more his governance has achieved than the previous government.
