Mumbai: Arunodaya Kalaniketan celebrates 59th anniversary

Mumbai, Dec 7: The 59th anniversary of prestigious arts organization Arunodaya Kalaniketan Mumbai was held at Veer Savarkar national memorial auditorium, Dadar west on Friday, December 1.

The hall programme was held in the leadership of director Dr Meenakshi Raju Sriyan. Entrepreneur Nagaraja Padukone had arrived as the chief guest. Mumbai high court judge Selva Kumar, Billava chamber of commerce and industry executive president N T Poojary, social worker Yashodha N Poojary, Srinivasa Safalya, Govinda Babu Poojary, Sanjiva Salian, Suresh

R Kanchan and Raju Sriyan who were present as guests of honour lit the lamp and set the celebrations in motion.

Excellent achiever in journalism, non-resident Indian social worker Leeladhar Baikampady was felicitated by the guests.

Students of different branches of the organization presented dance forms of other states reflecting their culture.
