Bengaluru, Dec 4: Former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda attended Eid Milad-un-Nabi celebration, the birthday of Holy Prophet Muhammad at Edga Quddoos Saheb Ground recently.
Syed Mohid Altaf D(S) president, state minorities unit, and Abdul Ravuf Puttige, state secretary were present.
"Prophet Muhammad showed humanity and the righteous path of compassion and universal brotherhood. His life and preaching inspires towards peace and happiness. If we follow his preaching, there is no chance of violence in the society," said Gowda.
B M Farooq, state general secretary, JD(S) said, "Prophet is a role model for us to lead the society with peace. Walking on his path will help us built a kingdom of humanity and happiness."
