Mangaluru: Student working on ladder electrocuted

Mangaluru, Nov 24: A youth who had leaned a ladder against a wall in his house and went up on it for some work got electrocuted. This sad incident happened on Thursday November 23 evening at Janata Colony near Suratkal.

The victim was Sushmith (21) a mechanical diploma student.

Sushmith had undergone diploma training in a private educational institution at Valencia here. During campus placements, he had bagged an employment in a foreign country. He also had obtained work visa. Both Sushmith and his mother had visited the passport office for this purpose on Thursday afternoon.

Sushmith's father suffers from the problem of poor eyesight. Sushmith, who his parents hoped would prove to be their life support, suddenly left for heavenly abode in a quirk of fate.
