Tumkur, Nov 22: Villagers of Vaddarakuppe near Kunigal have taught a fitting lesson to a pervert teacher who used to sexually harass girl students of the school by showing the video clipping of his wife having bath at home. This incident reportedly took place on Tuesday, November 21.

Dayanand Murthy, teacher of government lower primary school, Vaddarakuppe, is the person who has received a severe beating from the villagers.

The girl students of the school, who could not tolerate the sexual harassment of the teacher, brought the same to the notice of the police by dialing the emergency number and also informed the matter to the parents and another teacher of the school.

On Tuesday, when the said teacher arrived at school, the parents and villagers questioned him about the issue. He started arguing denying the matter. Villagers caught hold and thrashed him and handed him over to the police.

It is learnt that the accused teacher has done the same act earlier in a school at Kote layout of the Kunigal city. Somashekar, Block Education Officer has recommended the teacher to be suspended from service.
