Bengaluru: Action against 'Jokers of BJP-Karnataka' FB page handlers sought

Bengaluru, Nov 22: Karnataka BJP’s Social Media Cell on Tuesday November 22, filed a complaint with Malleshwaram police to take action on handlers of a Facebook page for carrying out a slanderous campaign against BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa.

The party sought legal action against the creators of the Facebook page 'Jokers of BJP-Karnataka'. One of the posts in the page stated that BS Yeddyurappa wears shoes that are worth Rs one lac.

“This is false, baseless and malicious. Such kind of campaigns against BJP state president is unacceptable and strongly condemnable,” said BJP Social Media Cell Convenor Balaji S in a statement.

The Facebook page 'Jokers of BJP-Karnataka' has over one lac followers. Most of the posts poke fun of BJP leaders through funny memes.

    how many fb pages are there in which how they are mocking congress, sidduji, soniyaji and rahul gandhi, what about them??
    and most of sanghi pages, they are against congress, which till now i didn't understood, either they are sanghis or bjpees paid agents.
