Bengaluru: 'Won't you learn Kannada?' - Siddaramaiah taunts Amit Shah

Bengaluru, Nov 21(DHNS): Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Tuesday took to Twitter to ask BJP National President Amit Shah if the latter isn't interested in learning the Kannada language also.

The taunt comes in the wake of media reports that Shah is learning Tamil and Bengali languages to strengthen the party's presence in Tamil Nadu and West Bengal.

Shah has also started to learn Assamese and Manipuri to engage in conversations in those languages.

"Kannada kaliyodilva Amit Shah avare? Won't you learn Kannada?" read Siddaramaiah's tweet.

    Mr. Shah. What is the problem in learning kannada.. do u think u ll get vote in bengal or TN if u learn tamil or bengali.though u learn or not u ll not get single seat in that States.why are you wasting ur time and energy on that . Better lean kannada atleast u can expect some more seats in karnataka for sure.

    Nimage history gotthilva.Check your facts.Tuluva Kings used to write tulu in Kannada script(not Malayalam or Tamil).This itself is enough that all tulu ,byari,konkani is like children of Kannada.Kannada is a mother.Respect her.Period!!

    I bet you,there is no other city in India makes migrant comfortable than Bengaluru .This shows the people over there(gowdas)are most humble,grateful,compromising.
    Recent years they started making kannadisation,and why not make it?Its our right.When we face too many migrants ,humans naturally develop insecurity.
    Imagine in mangaluru if too many bangalis,biharis,north Indians doing too good dominating business.We will feel the heat.But we are lucky we have our own people pai &pai,shetty's ,bawas,pintos.Not yadavs,lalus,kapoors.I bet mangaluru will not tolerate as our capital.So love this language and be proud you are in most tolerant state.

    Many non-Kannadigas in Gulf countries, especially Telugus and Mallus, proudly say that they have settled in Bangalore but they don’t even know a word in Kannada. These people are already dominating in the city. Will Sidhumaiah teach them Kannada?
