Udupi: Mohandas Pai inaugurates office of Dharma Samsad

Udupi, Nov 21: The office of Dharma Samsad was inaugurated on Tuesday November 21. The office located in Royal Garden will be the venue for the Dharma Samsad which will be held from November 24 to 26.

T V Mohandas Pai, chairman Manipal Global inaugurated the office. He said, “Western scholars do not understand Hindu ideology. They say that it is a way of life not religion. During independence the Hindu population was 85% but now it is 77%. We should be united in religion. In any nation, majority religion is not referred to as communal, but in India, Hindus are communal. The youth should take part in religious activities and protect the religion."



Pejawara Shri Vishwa Prassanna Swamiji was also present on the occasion. He said, “This office is established to facilitate the Dharma Samsad. The office bearers will help the pilgrims in every way to take part in the occasion.

"Vishwa Hindu Parishad is organizing the Samsad. More than 1,500 seers and saints will take part in the programme. Hindus from all over India will come to this Samsad.
The Samsad is being held in Udupi for the second time. Food arrangements for the participants is arranged. Large number of youth are voluntarily taking part in the preparations. Hindu Vaibhava exhibition is also organized."

M B Puranik, secreatry Vishwa Hindu Parishad welcomed the guests. Vilas Nayak, district president VHP Rajendra Pankaj, All India Central Secretary VHP Sharan Pumpwell, Suni K R were present here.
