Mumbai: St Xavier’s High School, Borivali celebrates Children’s Day

Mumbai, Nov 15: Students and teachers of St Xavier’s High School, Borivali (E) celebrated Children’s Day at their school premises.

The teachers organized a full fledged and very colourful assembly for the students. The assembly began with the Lord’s Prayer, Bible reading and special prayer by the teachers. The students and teachers sang and danced to a few prayer songs.

The encouraging message sent by the chairman was read out by the president of the school council. The teachers delivered a wonderful performance on the occasion. A skit presented by the teachers on the importance of parents in a student’s life stole the show. The teachers also played various one minute games with the students. The winners were presented gifts.



All segments of the celebration were thoroughly enjoyed. Sweets were distributed on behalf of the chairman and managing director. The students relished the cake cut by them in their class as well as the one cut by the school Council members.

A sapling was planted by the president and prime minister of the school student council along with monitors from grade VI to X.

House wise games competitions were organized.

The students had a wonderful time in their well decorated classrooms.
