Puttur: St Victor's Girls High School celebrates Children's Day

Puttur, Nov 15: St Victor's Girls High School here celebrated Children's Day on November 14.

Fr Pravin D' Souza who chaired the programme said that every child is God's resemblance. “Children should make use of their talents and opportunities available to them,” he said conveying his best wishes.

The chief guest, an old student of the school, Marina Seema Sequeira explained the way children should inculcate the qualities of discipline, courage and leadership in them. “Let there be trust in God, respect to teachers and goodwill to parents,” she said.

Teachers and students presented cultural programme. Sridevi Bhat explained the significance of Children's Day. Usha Anchan, vice-president of parent teacher association conveyed her best wishes to the children. The chief guest was honored on behalf of the school. Teacher Preema gave introduction of the chief guest. Headmistress Roselyn Lobo welcomed. Irene Rodrigues proposed vote of thanks. Drithi and Vaishnavi compered the programme.
