Mangaluru: Expert PU College bags several prizes in intercollegiate fest ‘Prerana’

Mangaluru, Nov 9: Expert PU College, on Thursday November 9, bagged several prizes with overall second runner-up at ‘Prerana 2017’ an intercollegiate cultural fest organised by Father Muller Homeopathic Medical College, Deralakatte, Mangalore.

The students won the first prize in mime competition. Manas Choudhary and Aditya Rao bagged the second prize in ‘Wealth out of waste’. Sadhana won the third prize in knockout dance. Pritha got the second prize in Bharathanatyam.

Intercollegiate Cultural Fest at Jain PU College:

Karnataka State Student Welfare Fund and Pre-University Education Board in collaboration with Jain PU College Moodabidri organized Inter Collegiate Cultural fest on 27 October 2017.

Shubhashree and Anusha bagged first prize in English essay competition separately. Rahul Chandu got second prize in English Competition. Jaikishan and Arun of I PUC bagged third prize in Quiz competition and Prajna Acharya won the third prize in devotional song competition.

Kannada Rajyotsava Celebrations:

Kannada Rajyostava was celebrated with utmost propriety at Expert PU College premises.

Dr N K Vijayan, principal of Expert PU College inaugurated the programme by paying floral tributes to Mother Goddess of Kannada language and Culture. The Karnataka flag was unfurled by him, followed by the rendition of Nadageethe.
