Mangaluru, Nov 9: 'Madipu', a Tulu movie based on cultural heritage of the coast, directed by Chetan Mundodi will be screened at the 23rd Kolkata International Film
Festival.

It may be recalled that 'Madipu' had emerged as the 'best regional film' in the 64th national film awards announced earlier this year. The film was screened at the 9th Bengaluru International Film Festival (BIFF) in the Unsung Incredible India category as well.

The story has been well narrated by director Chethan Mundadi and cinematographer Ganesh Hegde has done a great job with the light effects and beautifully captured the film. Dialogues by H Girish Rao alias Jogi are very enriching.

Ace music director V Manohar has composed the music. Editing has been handled well by Srikanth.

Sardar Sathya, Ila Vitla, MK Mata, Dr Seetha Kote, Nagaraja Rao, Chetan Rai Kini, Sujatha Shetty, Hanumanthappa, Jyothi Rai, Baby Shreya and Dayanand Bettapadi form the cast of 'Madipu'.
