Kundapur, Nov 6: In a tragic incident, a couple attempted suicide in a guest house at Hosangady here on Monday November 6, apparently following a family feud. While the wife survived, the man passed away.

Eshwar Gowda, who was staying in KPTCL quarters at Hosangady here, allegedly hanged himself in the bathroom. Shocked at the sight of his lifeless body, his wife Vinanthi too attempted suicide.

Luckily, a neighbour saw her trying to end her life and rushed to her rescue. Vinanthi was then admitted to Kundapur government hospital with the help of other neighbours. However, her condition is said to be serious.

It is said that Eshwar Gowda was distressed following a family dispute with his brother.

The couple have an eight-month old child.

Amasebail police have registered a case.

Very sad .Because of a family dispute, when the family man commits suecide,it doesnt end but gives more problems to the survived one specially now their so small child who doesnt understand what has happened have to live alone without mother and father.Atleast mother could have thought a moment about her childs future. Now mothers condition is serious and not sure whether she survives or not, baby have to be looked up by some strange person.Lord, forgive the person who brought this condition so far.Hope mother survives without any problems left back. One should have control at such moment with problems to confrontation.Simply not to go and suecide.seek help from elders.or professionals.think first your children.May God help family in their sad moment ,to have courage and needs.

A very unfortunate incident. Husband died and wife survived in a suicide attempt which was not the right thing. At least they should have thought of their eight-month-old child. RIP young man and hope his wife survives to take care of the baby.
