Oman Tuluver to present mega cultural show on Nov 10

Muscat, Nov 6: Mughal Darbar (New Arsalan Restaurant Ruwi) in association with Oman Tuluver will organize a mega cultural event on November 10 at Al Falaj Hotel here.

Oman Tuluver, a team of dynamic art lovers is gearing up to entertain people across the city with yet another eventful cultural programme comprising of a confluence of dance, drama and comedy at Grand Hall, Al Falaj Hotel, Ruwi on Friday November 10.

The team 'Oman Tuluver' has successfully hosted several programmes in the past supporting the rich Tulu language, its culture and heritage in the Sultanate of Oman. This time too the team is all set to set the stage afire with its following events:

Tulu drama: After the grand success of Yakshagana ballet last year and the immense appreciation from the community, the team has venturned to organize a Tulu comedy family drama, 'Porludaye' written by Kalaratna Dinesh Attavara, enacted by Lion Kishore Shetty group 'Lakumi'.

Comedy show: The most popular comedy team 'Maskiri Kudla' from Mangaluru led by Deepak Rai will entertain the Oman audience with their superb comedy skills. Deepak and team have performed in several TV programmes, the most popular ones being Majabharata (Colors Kannada) and Bale Telipale (Namma TV). They have also acted in many Tulu films. Also, Umesh Mijar the well-known comedian on Bale Telipale TV show will perform and grace the occasion.

Dances: Local talented Tuluvares are also gearing up to showcase their superb dancing skills on stage highlighting the rich Tulu culture.

The presenter of the event is Mughal Darbar (New Arsalan Restaurant Ruwi). The five hour show will commence at 4 pm. Gate will open at 2.30 pm and passes will be available at the venue on the day of the programme. Entry is free.
