Muscat: 'Mangalore Spikers' to hold volleyball 'Karnataka Rajyotsava Cup' on Nov 3

Muscat, Nov 2: 'Mangalore Spikers' a renowned name in the region for introducing international stars namely Anoop D'Costa, Sube Singh, Ashwal Rai and Sujit Acharya to
Oman sport lovers.

After their huge success in organising previous sports events like 'India Independence Day Cup' and 'Oman National Day Cup' in the year 2016 - Mangalore Spikers Muscat in association with Karnataka Sangha Muscat will be celebrating Karnataka Rajyotsava in Oman through a sports event for the benefit of people of Karnataka in Oman.

The enthusiastic organisers will be conducting the volleyball tournament 'Karnataka Rajyotsava Cup' on Friday Novemeber3 at Muscat Sports Club, Indoor Stadium, Wadi Al Kabir area. The tournament is open to all the people of Karnataka origin.

Indian Social Club, Karnataka wing will manage the stage programme in the evening from 6.00 to 6.30 pm before the final matches are played. Prominent personalities
of Muscat have consented to grace the occasion. G V Ramakrishna, head national sales, Bank Muscat Oman will preside over the function and Karunakar Rao, honorary convener of Indian Social Club Karnataka wing will be the guest of honour.

Other prominent personalities of Oman will be present to witness this unique tournament organised by Devanad, who is the backbone of Mangalore Spikers and whose enrgetic approach has been the strength behind many such succsessfull sports events till now."
